Omar Asad
Omar Andrés Asad (born 9 April 1971) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a forward. As a player, Asad spent all of his career in Vélez Sársfield, winning 8 titles with the club (including both the Copa Libertadores and the Intercontinental Cup). Asad is nicknamed ''el Turco'' (in English: "the Turk") because he has Syrian and Lebanese ethnicity. In Argentina, Arabs are usually mistakenly called Turks since they came to the country with Ottoman Turkish documents in the 1900s. Playing career Asad played as a striker and was characterised by being strong and quick. His first match in the Argentine Primera División came in 1992, when he played for Vélez Sársfield against Talleres de Córdoba. The 2011 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2011 Copa Santander Libertadores de América for sponsorship reasons) was the 52nd edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. A total of 20 teams competed in two championships —the Apertura and Clausura— over the course of the season, which started on August 6, 2010 and ended on June 30, 2011, one day prior to the start of the 2011 Copa América, held in Argentina. Enzo Héctor Trossero (born 23 May 1953), nicknamed ''El Vikingo'' (the Viking), is an Argentine footballer and coach. Club career He began his playing career at Argentine minnows Belgrano de San Francisco but he soon moved on to Colón de Santa Fe, and in 1975 he arrived at Independiente. José Luis Félix Chilavert González (; born 27 July 1965) is a Paraguayan former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Sportivo Luqueño, Guaraní, San Lorenzo de Almagro, Real Zaragoza, Vélez Sarsfield, RC Strasbourg, Peñarol, and the Paraguay national football team.
