The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian Latin: Olimpijski komitet Bosne i Hercegovine; Serbian Cyrillic: Олимпијски комитет Босне и Херцеговине) is the non-profit organization representing Bosnia and Herzegovina athletes in the International Olympic Committee. The committee organizes Bosnia's representatives at the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Members of the committee are 38 sports federations, which elect the Executive Council composed of the president and twelve members. History The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina was founded on June 4, 1992. It grew out of the ''ZOI '84'' organization, organizers of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. The committee maintains the ''Museum of the XIV Winter Olympiad''. The first president of the committee was Stjepan Kljuić, with Izudin Filipović being the first secretary general. Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court. Elvedin Begić
Elvedin Begić (born 24 October 1960) is a Bosnian football official who was president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (N/FSBiH) from 2012 to 2021. He had previously been a member of the N/FSBiH normalization committee established by FIFA in April 2011. In July 2015, Begić was named Vice-Chairman of the UEFA Stadium and Security Committee for the period 2015–2019. He was selected as Vice-Chairman again for the period 2019–2023. Zdravko Rađenović ( sr-cyrl, Здравко Рађеновић, born 5 September 1952) is a Bosnian retired handball player and former president of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who competed for Yugoslavia national handball team on two Olympic tournaments.
