Oliver Slipper
Oliver Michael Slipper (born 10 March 1976) is an English cricketer. Slipper is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He was born in Slough, Berkshire. Slipper represented the Surrey Cricket Board in a single List A cricket match against Shropshire in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. In his only List A match, he scored 26 runs. He currently plays club cricket for Weybridge Cricket Club in the Surrey Championship. Slipper was joint-CEO of Perform Group plc, a digital sports media business, headquartered in the UK. Slough () is a town and unparished area in the unitary authority of the same name in Berkshire, England, bordering west London. It lies in the Thames Valley, west of central London and north-east of Reading, at the intersection of the M4, M40 and M25 motorways. It is part of the historic county of Buckinghamshire. 2000 NatWest Trophy
The 2000 NatWest Trophy was the 20th and last NatWest Trophy before being renamed as the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy for the 2001 season. It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 2 May and 26 August 2000. The tournament was won by Gloucestershire who defeated Warwickshire by 22 runs in the final at Lord's. Format The 18 first-class counties, were joined by all twenty Minor Counties, plus Huntingdonshire. They were also joined by the cricket boards of Derbyshire, Durham, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Kent, Lancashire, Leicestershire, Middlesex, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire. The Surrey Championship is a cricket organisation in Surrey running 6 divisions for 1st & 2nd XI cricket, 4 for 3rd XI and 4 for 4th XI. Since 2000 it has been a designated ECB Premier League. The teams competing in the Premier Division in 2020 will be: Ashtead, Banstead, East Molesey, Esher, Normandy, Reigate Priory, Sunbury, Cranleigh, Weybridge, and Wimbledon. Weybridge Cricket Club
Weybridge () is a town in the Borough of Elmbridge in Surrey, England, around southwest of central London. The settlement is recorded as ''Waigebrugge'' and ''Weibrugge'' in the 7th century and the name derives from a crossing point of the River Wey, which flows into the River Thames to the north of the town centre. The earliest evidence of human activity is from the Bronze Age. During the Anglo-Saxon and Middle Ages, medieval periods, Weybridge was held by Chertsey Abbey.
