Oliver Chapoy
Oliver Chapoy is a musician/multi-instrumentalist/producer who resides in Brooklyn, New York. Oliver is known for his work as a former co-writer/collaborator with Experimental Pop group Warm Ghost, the instrumental band Saxon Shore and his collaborations with the likes of Helado Negro, Sinkane (DFA Records), Mikael Jorgensen (Wilco), Leverage Models & more. Oliver is also known for his performance in the group Shai Hulud. However he has been in other acts renowned for affecting the late 1990s Florida hardcore, and metalcore scene tremendously. Oliver has also engineered records at Salad Days Studio for producer Brian McTernan, including records for Circa Survive and Bane. Saxon Shore (band)
Saxon Shore was an American post-rock band consisting of members from Philadelphia, Brooklyn, New York, Los Angeles, and Rochester, New York. The group released five albums: one packaged as an EP (''Luck Will Not Save Us...'') and four as full-lengths. Burnt Toast Vinyl is an independent record label based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. History Burnt Toast Vinyl was founded by Scott Hatch, a Drexel University student who had initially been involved with concert promotion at the school. The label has released full albums from several prominent Philadelphia indie musicians, as well as releasing or re-releasing material on vinyl from artists, including those on the Tooth & Nail roster. Equal Vision Records
Equal Vision Records is an independent record label based in Albany, New York. It was founded in the early 1990s by Ray Cappo, singer for the punk bands Youth of Today, Shelter, and Better Than a Thousand. The label originally existed solely to distribute Shelter and other Krishna releases. In 1992, label manager Steve Reddy bought Equal Vision from Cappo. The focus was expanded and a wider variety of bands were brought on board. According to ''Punk News'', the mid-to-late '90s saw a redoubling of the Equal Vision's hardcore efforts with such signings as One King Down and Ten Yard Fight. By the end of the '90s Equal Vision Records (EVR) had a stable of hardcore and punk bands, having added Bane, Trial, Converge and Saves the Day to its roster in the latter part of the decade. Revelation Records is an independent record label focusing originally and primarily on hardcore punk. Partisan Records is an independent record label with offices in London and Los Angeles, as well as in New York City, where the company was co-founded in 2007 by Tim Putnam and Ian Wheeler.
