Ole Tøpholm
Ole Tøpholm (born 9 October 1977 in Silkeborg) is a Danish radio host. Tøpholm graduated in 2002 at ''Journalisthøjskolen'' with a journalism degree. Since 2000 he has been working for the Danish broadcaster Danmarks Radio as a reporter on ''Radioavisen'' and he is currently the morning news presenter for DR P3. Tøpholm was the regular Danish Commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest between 2011 and 2019 contests. A devoted fan since childhood, he was chairman of the Danish Eurovision fan club. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union. DR P3 (referred to in Denmark simply as P3) is a Danish current-based hit music radio station operated by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. It is broadcast on FM radio, DAB, and Internet radio. It commenced broadcasting on 1 January 1963 as ''Musikradioen'' in response to the popularity of the offshore pirate radio station Radio Mercur, which had been outlawed by the Danish parliament in June 1962. The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was the 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (), also known as Melodi Grand Prix or simply DMGP, is an annual music competition organised by the Danish public broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR) since 1957, which determines the for the Eurovision Song Contest. The festival has produced three Eurovision winners and fourteen top-five placings.
