Ole Evenrud
Ole Evenrud (born November 17, 1962) is a Norwegian pop artist and teenpop producer. He had his big time in the 1980s under the name Ole i'dole. After the 1980s he has operated as a musical producer. He was Head of A&R at Polygram Norway from 1993 until 1998, then became a full-time producer, while being the Head of Universal A&R until 2000. Since, Ole has had success with producing many teen-pop acts, such as A*Teens, Creamy and Little Trees (band), Little Trees. In 2003 and 2005 he was a judge for the TV2 (Norway), TV2-program ''Idol series, Idol''. A*Teens
A-Teens (stylized as A★TEENS or A*Teens) were a Swedish pop music group from Stockholm, Sweden, formed by Niklas Berg in 1998 originally as an ABBA tribute band called ABBA-Teens and was later renamed A-Teens. The band members were Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevald and Sara Lumholdt. The band's debut album became a success around the world. In 2001, following their second album, '' Teen Spirit'', it was reported that the band had sold 2 million copies. After six years together, the band announced they would take a break in 2004 after the release of their ''Greatest Hits'' album. Each song from that album became a Top 20 hit in at least one country around the world. However, following in the year 2006, Serneholt's Swedish-language website has announced that they had made their break-up more indefinite, and is said to have finally disbanded as they all went to pursue solo recording careers for the next few years. Creamy
Creamy were a Faroese-Danish teen-pop duo, composed of Rebekka Mathew and Rannva Joensen. Their 1999 debut album, ''Creamy'', made when the pair were just thirteen years of age, was composed of euro-pop versions of children’s songs. In 2001, they released a seasonal album, ''Christmas Snow''. Their only single in the UK was a euro-pop cover of the theme song to the 1984 movie, '' Neverending Story'', which was featured on their second album, '' We Got the Time''. They were signed to RecArt Music Denmark. Their album, " We Got the Time" was produced by Ole Evenrud, of A*Teens fame. Ole Evenrud also produced a version of a song from that album, " Help! I'm a Fish (I'm a Little Yellow Fish)", for the Danish pop group, Little Trees. Little Trees (band)
Little Trees were a short-lived Danish teen pop girl group from Copenhagen. They are best known for their contribution to the 2001 animated film, ''Help! I'm a Fish'' soundtrack, for which they performed the title track, "Help! I'm a Fish (Little Yellow Fish)". "Help! I'm a Fish (Little Yellow Fish)" was produced by Ole Evenrud, of A*Teens fame. Ole Evenrud also produced a similar-sounding version of the same song for the Danish duo, Creamy. The trio consisted of Marie Brøbech, Stephanie Nguyen and Sofie Walburn Kring, who were 13, 14 and 15 years of age at the time, respectively. The girls had known each other since childhood and had been fixated on singing and dancing from the ages of 8–9.
