Okinawa Seidokan is a style of Okinawa classical karate ( Tode) and Kobudo founded in 1984 by Shian Toma. It is a synthesis of the Shorin Ryu katas, Motobu Ryu two-person open hand grappling and weapons techniques, and Kobudo katas mostly of the Ryukyu Kobudo lineages. is the second-largest city in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, following Naha, the capital city. It is located in the central part of the island of Okinawa, about north of Naha. Seikichi Odo
Seikichi Odo (born July 26, 1927 in Okinawa – died March 24, 2002), whose name means "world walker" in Japanese, was a karateka. He combined ''kobudō'' and karate techniques to found the Ryūkyū Hon Kenpo Kobujutsu Federation. Education Of pechin descent, he was small in stature and introverted as a youth. At age 9 Odo began his martial arts training in judo. At age 13 Odo met Koho Kuba of Kawasaki, Okinawa. Kuba taught Odo the art of ''Okinawa-te''. Ryukyu Kobudo is the branch of Okinawan Kobudo developed and systemized by Taira Shinken under thRyukyu Kobudo Hozon Shinko Kaiassociation. is a karate school founded in 1922 by Motobu Chōki from Okinawa.
