Ohio's 12th congressional district is a United States List of United States congressional districts, congressional district in central Ohio, covering Delaware County, Ohio, Delaware County, Morrow County, Ohio, Morrow County, and Licking County, Ohio, Licking County, along with parts of Franklin County, Ohio, Franklin, Marion County, Ohio, Marion, Muskingum County, Ohio, Muskingum, and Richland County, Ohio, Richland counties. The district includes communities north and east of Columbus, Ohio, Columbus including Zanesville, Ohio, Zanesville, Mansfield, Ohio, Mansfield, and Dublin, Ohio, Dublin. It is currently represented by Troy Balderson, a member of the Republican Party (United States), Republican Party. Its western terminus is at Ohio State Route 115, SR 115 and Ohio State Route 189, SR 189 in Vaughnsville, Ohio, Vaughnsville, and its eastern terminus is at Ohio State Route 53, SR 53 just south of Fremont, Ohio, Fremont. Patrick Joseph Tiberi (; born October 21, 1962) is an American lobbyist and politician who served as the U.S. representative for from 2001 to 2018. His district included communities north and east of Columbus. He is a member of the Republican Party, and previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1993 to 2000. He briefly served as Chair of the new Republican Main Street Congressional Caucus from September 7, 2017. In October 2017, Tiberi announced his plan to resign from Congress in January 2018 to lead the Ohio Business Roundtable. His last day in office was January 15. The Republican Party nominated State Senator Troy Balderson for the seat while the Democratic Party nominated Franklin County Recorder Danny O'Connor. Balderson led O'Connor in preliminary results; however, the race was not officially called on election night. Ohio's 15th Congressional District
The 15th congressional district of Ohio currently represented by Republican Mike Carey. It was represented by Republican Steve Stivers from 2011 until May 16, 2021, when he resigned to become president and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. The district includes the southern portions of Columbus as well as communities west and south of the city. It also includes the college towns of Athens and Wilmington. From 2003 to 2013 Union County and Madison County were entirely within the district's boundaries as is approximately half of Franklin County.
