Hong Kong Housing Authority
The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) is the main provider of public housing in Hong Kong. It was established in April 1973 under the Housing Ordinance and is an agency of the Government of Hong Kong. The International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), established in 1978, is the only global organisation for the cooperation of more than 200 independent Ombudsman institutions operating on a local, regional and national level from more than 100 countries worldwide. The Ombudsman of Western Australia, Chris Field, is the current President of the IOI since May 2021. Werner Amon, Chair of the Austrian Ombudsman Board, is the IOI's Secretary General since July 2019. Andrew So Kwok-wing, SBS, OBE, JP (; born 29 March 1939) is a Hong Kong educator and politician. So was born on 29 March 1939. He studied at the Wah Yan College, Kowloon and the Grantham College of Education and worked as an educator. He took an active role in the credit union movement since 1963 and was the founding president of the Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions in 1971. he was also managing director of the Credit Union League of Hong Kong and director of the CUNA International/ World Council of Credit Unions from 1969 to 1981. The Public Service Commission () in Hong Kong is the principal statutory advisory body to the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Chief Executive on Hong Kong Civil Service, civil service appointments, promotions and discipline.
