Ofelia Malinov ( bg, Офелия Малинов; born ) is an Italian volleyball player, playing as a setter. She is part of the Italy women's national volleyball team. She was born in Italy to Bulgarian parents. Career She competed at the 2015 Women's European Volleyball Championship, 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, and 2019 Montreux Volley Masters. She was selected to play the Italian League All-Star game in 2017. Alisha Rebecca Glass Childress (born April 5, 1988) is an American former professional volleyball player who played as a setter for the United States women's national volleyball team. Glass played collegiate volleyball for Penn State, where she led Penn State to three NCAA consecutive championships. Glass won gold with the national team at the 2014 World Championship, and bronze at the 2015 World Cup and 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Imoco Volley Conegliano
Imoco Volley is an Italian women's volleyball club based in Conegliano and currently playing in the Serie A1. History The club was founded on 15 March 2012, two months after the bankruptcy of the other volleyball team in Conegliano. In April 2012, it acquired a Serie A1 licence from , that meant the club started playing directly at the highest Italian league. It has been playing under the name since its foundation in 2012. The club won the Serie A1 for the first time in 2015–16, winning the Italian Super Cup a few months later on 8 December 2016. 2016–17 CEV Women's Champions League
The CEV Champions League was the highest level of European club volleyball in the 2016–17 season and the 57th edition. The Turkish club VakıfBank Istanbul won its third title and qualified to the 2017 FIVB Club World Championship as European champion, besides being already invited by the FIVB, along with Eczacıbaşı VitrA and Voléro Zürich. The Italian club Imoco Volley Conegliano won the silver medal and Turkish Eczacıbaşı VitrA claimed the bronze medal. The Chinese Zhu Ting from VakıfBank Istanbul was awarded Most Valuable Player. 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix
The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 24th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 teams from 3 June to 10 July 2016. The Group 1 final round was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Brazil captured their record eleventh title in the tournament after a 3–2 win over defending champions United States. In the bronze medal match, The Netherlands prevailed in five sets over Russia. Natália Pereira was elected the most valuable player. 2015 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The 2015 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 29th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. It was hosted by Netherlands and Belgium from 26 September to 4 October 2015. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball.
