Oconomowoc High School
Oconomowoc High School is a public high school located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, United States. It is part of the Oconomowoc Area School District. As of the 2021–22 school year, it had 1,686 students. History Oconomowoc High School was built in 1923. The La Crosse-based architectural firm Parkinson & Dockendorff designed the original building. Additions to the school included an auditorium in 1938–1939, a 1950 classroom expansion, a 1955 gymnasium, and a dedicated music department in 1958. Oconomowoc's mascot is Rocky, a raccoon. The mascot was formerly named Cooney, which was changed due to the negative connotation of that word. , the name was still being used in connection with Oconomowoc athletics. Mukwonago High School
Mukwonago High School is located in Mukwonago in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. It is part of the Mukwonago Area School District. Approximately 1700 students attend the school, which has over 150 staff members. The original building at 308 Washington Avenue was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 7, 1994, but was delisted on May 12, 2009. The current building, erected in the 1970s, is at 605 W. School Road (Hwy NN) in Mukwonago. Frank Tenney Johnson
Frank Tenney Johnson (June 26, 1874 – January 1, 1939) was a painter of the Old American West, and he popularized a style of painting cowboys which became known as "The Johnson Moonlight Technique". ''Somewhere on the Range'' is an example of Johnson's moonlight technique. To paint his paintings he used knives, fingers and brushes. Early life Johnson was born in Pottawattamie County, Iowa to Abner Johnson and Cordelia Rebecca Tenney. He was raised on his family's farm along the old Overland Trail, near Big Grove, Iowa (now known as Oakland, Iowa) in the Council Bluffs area, where his father raised cattle.
