Oceanside Transit Center is a major railway interchange in Oceanside, California, serving both intercity and suburban/commuter services. The station is used by Amtrak on the route of its ''Pacific Surfliner'' service between San Diego and San Luis Obispo. San Diego Union Station
Santa Fe Depot in San Diego, California, is a union station built by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway to replace the small Victorian-style structure erected in 1887 for the California Southern Railroad Company. San Luis Obispo Station
San Luis Obispo station is an Amtrak intercity rail station in the city of San Luis Obispo, California, United States. It is the northern terminus of two daily round trips of the ''Pacific Surfliner'' and is served by the daily ''Coast Starlight''. It has one side platform and one island platform serving the two tracks of the Coast Line. History The present Spanish Colonial Revival architecture style depot was built by the Southern Pacific Railroad and opened on September 5, 1943. It replaced the original SP depot, located just south of the current one, which opened on May 4, 1894. Sprinter (stylized as SPRINTER) is a hybrid rail (light rail with some features similar to commuter rail) line operating in the North County area of San Diego County between the cities of Escondido and Oceanside, California, United States.
