''Occhio, malocchio, prezzemolo e finocchio'' (Italian for "Eye, evil eye, parsley and fennel", also known as ''Evil Eye'') is a 1983 Italian comedy film directed by Sergio Martino. The film consists in two episodes spoofing superstition and magic, respectively starring Lino Banfi and Johnny Dorelli. Plot The film is divided into two episodes, ''The Hair of Disgrace'' and ''The Magician'', both focusing on the theme of the occult. The protagonists of the two episodes are respectively Lino Banfi and Johnny Dorelli. ''The Hair of Disgrace'' Altomare Secca owns an appliance store and has a number of problems, both family and work. Sergio Martino
Sergio Martino (born 19 July 1938) is an Italian film director and producer, notable for his contributions to the giallo genre. Martino is the brother of the late producer Luciano Martino (who died in 2013). They collaborated frequently in their respective professions. Their grandfather was director Gennaro Righelli. Sergio Martino worked for both the big screen as well as for Italian television where he does most of his current work. He often worked with actress Edwige Fenech who in the 1970s was married to his brother Luciano. Adriana Russo (born 4 February 1954) is an Italian actress and television personality. Life and career Born in Rome, Russo started acting at the university, then she joined the stage company "Teatro insieme Emilia Romagna". Ugo Bologna (11 September 1917 – 29 January 1998) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Milan, the son of a municipal employee and a housewife, in 1936 Bologna started working as a primary school teacher, and in 1939 he attended the course for cadet officers in the former italian city of Pula. A lieutenant during World War II, he was wounded during a battle, and then received a bronze medal for military valor. In 1950 he decided to give up his teaching profession and devote himself to acting. After enrolling an acting course under Isabella Riva he made his stage debut with the Fantasio Piccoli's company.
