Oana Mihaela Ban (born 11 January 1986 in Cluj-Napoca) is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast. She is an Olympic gold medalist with the team and a world silver medalist on beam and with the team. Kunoichi (TV Series)
''Kunoichi'' (クノイチ; stylized as ''女 KUNOICHI'' in Japan) is a women's obstacle course competition held in Japan and broadcast on the Tokyo Broadcasting System. It is a spin-off of '' Sasuke'', another obstacle course series. ''Kunoichi'' is different from ''Sasuke'' in that the competitors are exclusively female. The show is re-broadcast as ''Women of Ninja Warrior'' on the American G4 channel. It originally ran for 8 tournaments between 2001 and 2009. In 2017, after an 8-year hiatus, it was renewed for a 9th tournament which aired on February 12, 2017. A 10th tournament followed shortly afterwards on July 2, 2017. The 9th and 10th tournaments took place on an indoor course at the Makuhari Messe Convention Hall, unlike past tournaments taking place at Mt. Midoriyama Studio City. Monica Roşu (born 11 May 1987) is a former artistic gymnast from Romania. During her career, she won two Olympic gold medals (team and vault), a silver medal with the Romanian team at world championships, and two gold medals at the European Championships (team and vault). Marian Drăgulescu (born 18 December 1980 in Bucharest) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast. During his senior gymnastics career he won 31 medals at Olympic Games at World and European Championships, of which eight are gold medals at the World Championships and ten are gold medals at European Championships. Svetlana Vasilyevna Khorkina (russian: Светлана Васильевна Хоркина; born 19 January 1979) is a retired Russian artistic gymnast. She competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics, the 2000 Summer Olympics, and the 2004 Summer Olympics. During her career, Khorkina won seven Olympic medals and twenty World Championship medals. Aura Andreea Munteanu, known as Andreea Munteanu (; born 20 September 1988 in Constanța), is a retired Romanian gymnast. Career Munteanu became interested in gymnastics in 1994 after watching a competition on television. She began using her mother's bed as a makeshift vault, prompting her parents to enroll her for lessons at the CSS Farul Constanţa club. She progressed well in the sport and was accepted to train at the national training center in Deva in October 2002. Less than a year after beginning her training at Deva, in 2003, Munteanu became the Romanian national champion.
