O Mapa da Mina is a Brazilian telenovela produced and aired by TV Globo from March 29, 1993 to September 3, 1993, in 137 episodes. Written by Cassiano Gabus Mendes, with the collaboration of Maria Adelaide Amaral, Gugu Keller, Walkíria Portero and Dejair Cardoso, the telenovela was directed by Roberto Naar and Flávio Colatrello Jr. Carla Marins, Cássio Gabus Mendes, Luís Gustavo, Mauro Mendonça, Malu Mader, Tato Gabus Mendes and Pedro Paulo Rangel star in the main roles. Ada Chaseliov (March 30, 1952 – October 27, 2015) was a Brazilian film, stage, and television actress. Life Chaseliov was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1952. Marcelo Magalhães Serrado (born 10 February 1967 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian actor. Biography Marcelo began his career at CAL (Casa de Arte das Laranjeiras) in 1985. John Herbert (May 17, 1929January 26, 2011) was a Brazilian actor, director and producer. Herbert was born John Herbert Buckup in São Paulo. He appeared in numerous soap operas and telenovelas for Globo TV, making his last appearance in the 2008 series, ''Três Irmãs''. Herbert died from complications of pulmonary emphysema in São Paulo on January 26, 2011, at the age of 81. He had been hospitalized for the condition since January 5, 2011. Antônio Abujamra (15 September 1932 – 28 April 2015) was a Brazilian theatre and television director and actor.
