OFK Bečej 1918
OFK Bečej 1918 () is a football club based in Bečej, Vojvodina, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League Vojvodina, the third tier of the national league system. History After winning the Vojvodina League in the 1988–89 season, the club spent two years in the Yugoslav Inter-Republic League (Group North). They ended up as runners-up in 1989–90, before placing first in 1990–91 to earn promotion to the Yugoslav Second League. The club subsequently finished as champions in the competition's final edition before the breakup of Yugoslavia, getting promotion to the top flight for the first time ever. Between 1992 and 1998, the club competed in the newly formed First League of FR Yugoslavia. They placed fourth in the 1994–95 season and secured a spot in the 1995 UEFA Intertoto Cup. The COVID-19 pandemic in Serbia is a current outbreak of the disease COVID-19 in Serbia caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2. Its first case in Serbia was reported on 6 March 2020, and confirmed by Minister of Health Zlatibor Lončar. The case was a 43-year-old man from Bačka Topola who had travelled to Budapest. 2018–19 Serbian First League
The Serbian First League (Serbian: Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 16 teams compete in the league for the 2018–19 season. Format 2018–19 As of the 2018-19 season, the league reverted to its previous playoff system, whereby the top 8 placed teams compete in the promoted round at the end of the season and the 8 lowest placed teams play in the relegation playoff round.
