Ozone Disco Club Fire
The Ozone Disco fire in Quezon City, Philippines, broke out at 11:35 pm Philippine Standard Time on March 18, 1996, leaving at least 162 people dead. It is officially acknowledged as the worst fire in Philippine history, and among the 10 worst nightclub fires in the world. History Ozone Disco was a popular spot in Quezon City for students and young professionals in the mid-’90s. It was located near the 11th World Scout Jamboree Memorial Rotonda along Timog Avenue. It was opened in 1991 by Segio Orgaoow. Its building had previously housed a jazz club named "Birdland". The disco was operated by Westwood Entertainment Company, Inc. Kentex Slipper Factory Fire
On May 13, 2015, a fire broke out at the Kentex Manufacturing factory in Valenzuela, Metro Manila, Philippines. Seventy-four people were killed in the fire, making the incident the joint-second worst fire disaster in Philippine history alongside the Manor Hotel fire in 2001; only the Ozone Disco Club fire in 1996 killed more people. Fire Kentex is a small manufacturer of flip flops and other rubber shoes located in Valenzuela City, a northern suburb of Manila, Philippines. It is one of many similar businesses serving the local market in a poor area of town. Manor Hotel Fire
The Manor Hotel fire was a fire occurred at the Manor Hotel in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on August 18, 2001. With a death toll of 74, it is considered to be the second worst structural fire in Philippine history, tied with the 2015 Kentex slipper factory fire and only behind the Ozone Disco fire in 1996. Building The Manor Hotel occupied a six-storey concrete building along Kamias Road in Quezon City, Metro Manila. According to local authorities it was built around the late 1970s and could have been previously affected by an earlier fire. At the time of the fire, the building had no windows at the rear and its windows are blocked by white iron bars, which is a common anti-burglary feature. Its fire exits were also obstructed. 2000 Luoyang Christmas Fire
The Luoyang Christmas fire was a major fire that occurred in Luoyang, in China's Henan Province, on 25 December 2000, killing 309 people. Incident A fire, triggered by sparks from welding activity at the Dongdu building, broke out in the basement at 9:35 p.m. local time, trapping construction workers on the second and third floors. Unique Torralba Salonga, known mononymously as Unique or stylized as UNIQUE, (born April 26, 2000) is a Filipino singer-songwriter and musician. He began his career as a vocalist and original frontman of IV of Spades and later pursued a solo career.
