Ozerki (russian: Озерки́) is a station on line 2 of the Saint Petersburg Metro, within the Ozerki historic district. It opened on 19 August 1988, and is between Udelnaya and Prospekt Prosvescheniya stations. Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons.
