Olga Erastovna Ozarovskaya (; 1874 – 1933) was a Russian folklorist, storyteller, performer, writer, and an archivist of fairy tales. She published a few Northern Russian folklore collection books. Additionally she was the first female civil servant, and the first women to do major scientific institution work within the Russian Empire. She worked with Russian folklore performer Mariya Krivopolenova. Early life and education Olga Erastovna von Ozarovskaya was born in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire to parents Erast and Varvara Petrovna von Ozarovsky. Her father was in the Russian artillery. She had two brothers, , and . Her brother Alexander was a military officer, and her brother Yuri became an actor and the director of the Alexandrinsky Theatre. Leonid Semyonovich Khizhinsky ( uk, Хижинський Леонід Семенович; 1896 in Kiev – 1972) was a graphic artist and illustrator of Ukraine, Ukrainian origin. In 1924 the Leningrad publishing houses, most notably Academia (Soviet publishing house), Academia, drew Khizhinsky and he ultimately chose the wood engraving. Khizhinsky's artwork was inspired by the paintings of Mikhail Vrubel and the culture of Kievan Rus. Khizhinsky's artwork adorns the comedies of Carlo Goldoni, Heinrich Heine, Heine's ''Reisebilder'' and Prosper Mérimée, Mérimée's ''Chronique du règne de Charles IX'', as well as the Russian folk tales by Olga Ozarovskaya and riddles by M.
