Oyster Bay is a suburb in Southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 26 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the Sutherland Shire. Location Oyster Bay is a natural feature on the southern bank of the Georges River. Green Point and Caravan Head are localities within the suburb of Oyster Bay. Green Point is home to the Green Point Observatory, home of the Sutherland Astronomical Society. Coronation Bay is also located on the Georges River between Green Point and Caravan Head. Oyster Bay Station (MTR)
Oyster Bay (), previously known as Siu Ho Wan in proposals, is an MTR station on the to be constructed southwest of Siu Ho Wan depot in Siu Ho Wan, on Lantau Island. The station will be built at-grade around existing Tung Chung line tracks. The construction of the station was gazetted by the Hong Kong Government in June 2021. The station is expected to open for service in 2030, with the depot remaining in use. It is expected that the station will serve new properties surrounding Siu Ho Wan depot, of which the station will be named after. History As part of the Airport Core Programme for the new Hong Kong International Airport, land was reclaimed at Siu Ho Wan for a MTR depot to service and trains. The depot opened in 1998. Oyster Bay (also spelled Oysterbay), also known as Cocoa Beach and Coco Beach, is an affluent neighbourhood in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It is popularly known for its attractive beach. The Town of Oyster Bay is the easternmost of the three towns which make up Nassau County, New York, United States. Part of the New York metropolitan area, it is the only town in Nassau County to extend from the North Shore to the South Shore of Long Island. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 301,332. Oyster Bay Station
Oyster Bay is the terminus on the Oyster Bay Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. The station is located off Shore Avenue between Maxwell and Larabee Avenues. It is a sheltered concrete elevated platform that stands in the shadows of the original station, which was accessible from the ends of Maxwell, Audrey, and Hamilton Avenues. Both stations exist along the south side of Roosevelt Park. The original Oyster Bay station opened on June 24, 1889 and remodeled in 1902. At one point there were plans to extend the line east towards the Port Jefferson Branch. There was also a large pier built to facilitate the loading of passenger cars onto a short-lived ferry to Wilson's Point in South Norwalk, Connecticut that is now owned by the Flowers Oyster Company.
