Warren County is a county located in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 U.S. census, the county's population was 109,632, representing an increase of 940 (0.9%) from the 108,692 residents counted at the 2010 census. The county borders the Delaware River and Easton, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley to its west, the New York City metropolitan area to its east, and The Poconos to its northwest. Warren County is the only county in New Jersey which is not part of the combined statistical areas of New York City or Philadelphia. The most populous place is Phillipsburg, with 14,950 residents at the time of the 2010 census while Hardwick Township had both the largest area and the fewest people with 1,696 residents. New York–New Jersey Highlands
The New York – New Jersey Highlands is a geological formation composed primarily of Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rock running from the Delaware River near Musconetcong Mountain, northeast through the Skylands Region of New Jersey along the Bearfort Ridge and the Ramapo Mountains, Sterling Forest, Harriman and Bear Mountain State Parks in New York, to the Hudson River at Storm King Mountain. The northern region is also known as the Hudson Highlands and the southern as the New Jersey Highlands. A broader definition would extend the region west to Reading, Pennsylvania, and east to the Housatonic River in Connecticut, encompassing the Reading Prong. In New Jersey, the region's watershed is protected by the state's own Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act. Oxford Township, New Jersey
Oxford Township is a township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 U.S. census, the township's population was 2,514, reflecting an increase of 207 (+9.0%) from the 2,307 counted in the 2000 census, which had in turn increased by 517 (+28.9%) from the 1,790 counted in the 1990 census. Oxford Township was formed from portions of Greenwich Township on May 30, 1754, while the area was still part of Sussex County. It was incorporated on February 21, 1798, as one of New Jersey's initial group of townships by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. Mansfield Township became part of the newly formed Warren County on November 20, 1824. Washington Township is a township in Warren County, New Jersey, United States.
