Owa Odighizuwa
Owamagbe Odighizuwa (born April 1, 1992) is a former American football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at UCLA. Early years Odighizuwa was born in Columbus, Ohio. At the age of 3, he moved to his parents' native country of Nigeria to live with family in the heart of Benin City. He returned to the United States five years later, moving to Portland, Oregon in 2001. He grew up playing soccer in Nigeria, and by the time he reached junior high in the David Douglas School District, he was more into track & field and basketball. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. Ositadimma "Osi" Umenyiora (born November 16, 1981) is a former American football defensive end. He played college football for Troy University and was drafted by the New York Giants in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Umenyiora was a two-time Pro Bowl selection and holds the Giants franchise record for most sacks in one game.
