Outsiders (Australian TV Program)
''Outsiders'' is an Australian television news and commentary show broadcast on Sky News Australia. The show is currently co-hosted by editor of ''The Spectator'' magazine Rowan Dean, ''The Friday Show'' host Rita Panahi, and ''The Daily Telegraph'' opinion editor James Morrow, and features long-form discussion of political issues between conservative contributors. The show is broadcast from the Sky News Centre in the Sydney suburb of Macquarie Park. The series debuted in a pilot episode on 4 December 2016, and began airing weekly in 2017, before the format expanded to a two-hour Sunday morning edition and hourly primetime episodes in 2018. ABC TV, formerly known as ABC1, is an Australian national public television network. It is owned and operated by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and is the flagship ABC Television network. ''Agenda'' is the name given to a series of Australian television news and commentary programs, broadcast on Sky News Australia throughout the week. The ''Agenda'' series of bulletins serve as the channel's flagship program. The series focuses on mainly political topics, and in each episode the host usually interviews a guest, and is then usually joined by either Sky News contributors or politicians from opposing sides of politics debating the issues of the day. With the exception of ''Sunday Agenda'' and the Thursday episode of ''PM Agenda'', the program is broadcast live from the Sky News studio at Parliament House in Canberra. Peter Van Onselen
Peter van Onselen is an Australian political academic, author, political journalist and commentator. He is a contributing editor at ''The Australian'' newspaper. Between 2010 and 2017, he hosted several programs at Sky News Australia. Since December 2018 he has served as Network 10's political editor and a co-host of '' The Project''. Early life Van Onselen was born in 1976 in Sydney, New South Wales and grew up in Coogee in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. He graduated from Scots College in Bellevue Hill in 1993, later continuing his studies via the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Western Australia. He was awarded a PhD in political science from the University of Western Australia, converting his dissertation into a book. ''Keneally and Cameron'' was an Australian television news and commentary program broadcast weekly on Sky News Australia from 2014 to 2015, co-hosted by former NSW Premier Kristina Keneally and former Federal Liberal Minister Ross Cameron.
