''Outro'' is the eleventh extended play by South Korean boy band, Highlight (band), Highlight, released on November 20, 2018, by Around Us Entertainment and distributed by Kakao M. The album features vocals from member Yoon Doo-joon, Doojoon, who previously enlisted on August 23, 2018, and is also the last Highlight release to feature member Yong Jun-hyung, Junhyung, who would depart on March 14, 2019, as a witness in the Burning Sun scandal. The album was preceded by the single, "Take Care," on October 29, 2018. The title track, "Loved," was released on November 20, 2018, alongside the album. Highlight (band)
Highlight (Korean: ) is a South Korean boy band formerly known as Beast (Korean: 비스트). The band consists of four members: Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon. Originally a six-piece band, Jang Hyun-seung departed from the group in April 2016, and Yong Jun-hyung departed in March 2019. In late 2016, the group moved labels from Cube Entertainment to Around Us Entertainment and subsequently changed their name to Highlight in 2017. The group debuted in 2009 with the EP ''Beast Is the B2ST''. In 2011, they released their first full-length album, ''Fiction and Fact'', and made their Japanese debut with the single, " Shock". Son Dong-woon (; born June 6, 1991), known mononymously as Dongwoon, is a South Korean singer. He is a member of the boy group Highlight (formerly known as Beast). Biography Son Dong-woon was born in Busan, South Korea, on June 6, 1991. His father, Son Il-rak, is a professor at Cheongju University. Dong Woon stated in an interview and in the KBS show ''Win Win'' that he studied in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines. Dong Woon was a trainee from JYP Entertainment for two years, and was the last member chosen to join Beast. He is the youngest of the group. Yang Yo-seob (born January 5, 1990), more commonly known as Yoseob, is a South Korean singer and musical actor. He is the main vocalist of the boy group Highlight. Biography Yang was born in Seoul, South Korea on January 5, 1990, in a small family with one older sister, Yang Hae-yeon. His name Yoseob was the Hanja version of the name Joseph, which was later sinicized by the decision of his grand father. He first gained interest in music and started practicing singing after listening to Brian McKnight's music. He then listened to a lot of music of a similar style, but realized that he should not be biased towards a certain genre and started listening to dance music and rock as well. Burning Sun Scandal
The Burning Sun scandal, also known as Burning Sun gate, was a 2019 entertainment and sex scandal in Seoul, South Korea, which involved several celebrities, including Korean idols of popular K-pop groups, and police officials. It was the largest scandal to hit the K-pop industry. The allegations of sex crimes involved added to the country's "epidemic" of what is called '' molka'', a Korean word for the online distribution of unconsented sex videos taken of women, and the scandal became fodder for political parties, who argued over how to handle it. It began on January 28, 2019, when MBC Newsdesk reported a November 2018 alleged assault of a male clubgoer at the Burning Sun, a prominent nightclub in Gangnam, by a staff member. Yoon Doo-joon (born July 4, 1989), better known mononymously as Doojoon, is a South Korean singer and actor. He is the leader of the South Korean boy group Highlight. Early life Yoon Doo-joon was born in Goyang, South Korea on July 4, 1989. His dream of becoming a high school Physical Education teacher changed suddenly during his second year of high school after watching MTV's ''Big Bang Documentary''.
