''Outline'' is the debut album by Gino Soccio, released in 1979 on RFC Records, a Warner Bros. Records disco subsidiary run by Ray Caviano. The album peaked at No. 79 on the US Billboard 200 and No. 12 in Canada. "Dancer" is Soccio's only Billboard Hot 100 entry, peaking at No. 48, and his first No. 1 hit on the Disco Top 80 chart. Gino Soccio (born September 9, 1955) is a Canadian disco record producer based in Montreal. His only US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 entry was the #48 hit single "Dancer" in 1979, but he did hit #1 on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart twice ("Dancer" / "Dance to Dance" in 1979, and "Try It Out" / "Hold Tight" in 1981, six weeks each). "Dancer" peaked at #46 in the UK Singles Chart in May 1979. Soccio's third biggest hit, "It's Alright" / "Look at Yourself", from his album, ''Face to Face'', reached #2 for 5 weeks also on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. Busta "Cherry" Jones (born Michael Jones, September 26, 1951 – December 6, 1995) was an American musician, songwriter and producer. He is known for his bass work both live and in the studio with Albert King, Talking Heads, Gang of Four, Chris Spedding as well as many others during a decade spanning career that lasted from the late 1960s until his death in 1995.
