''Out There'' is a science fiction television program that was broadcast on Sundays at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time Zone, EST on CBS, CBS Television from October 28, 1951 through January 13, 1952. It was one of the first science fiction anthology series, and one of the first shows to mix filmed special effects with live action. It only lasted twelve half-hour episodes before being cancelled. The awkward time slot may have led to its failure. In its short run, the program featured episodes adapted from stories by (and in some cases written by) authors including Robert A. Heinlein, Ray Bradbury, Theodore Sturgeon, John D. MacDonald, Murray Leinster, Frank Belknap Long and Milton Lesser. Out There (Eric Dolphy Album)
''Out There'' is an album by Eric Dolphy which was released by Prestige Records in September 1961. It features Dolphy in a quartet with bassists Ron Carter (here playing cello) and George Duvivier, and drummer Roy Haynes. It was Dolphy's second album as a leader, released following his time with Charles Mingus. The album features four original compositions by Dolphy, one of which is a collaborative effort with Mingus. The album also features three covers, "Eclipse" by Mingus, "Sketch of Melba" by Randy Weston and "Feathers" by Hale Smith. The cover features a painting by Richard Jennings, known as "Prophet". Dolphy's group on ''Out There'' resembles the late 1950s ensembles of Chico Hamilton, with whom Dolphy played and recorded during that time, in that it features both a cello and a bass; however, unlike Hamilton's group, Dolphy's does not contain a guitar or other chordal instrument. As a result, Dolphy and Ron Carter solo over bass and drums only, helping to give the album ...

Out There (Disney Song)
"Out There" is a song from the 1996 Disney animated film ''The Hunchback of Notre Dame''. Unofficially, it consists of the two songs "Stay In Here" and "Out There". In the stage musical version, Frollo's "Stay In Here" section was expanded into its own song entitled "Sanctuary". Production Alan Menken's demo of the song put more emphasis on the "Stay In Here" theme of Quasimodo's monstrous features and Judge Claude Frollo's manipulation to keep him inside the cathedral. In the stage musical version, the song is reprised at the very end, when he realizes that to a certain degree Frollo was right - that the world is cruel and wicked. But he also realizes that it is joyous and kind as well, and that it is the only world we've got so we must accept it, highs and lows included. Synopsis At this point in the film, Quasimodo wants to attend the Feast of Fools, but has never been allowed out of Notre Dame's bell tower before. His master Frollo tells him the outside world will treat ...
