Our Place (Australian TV Series)
''Our Place'' was a short-lived Australian weekly live variety lifestyle programme broadcast on the Nine Network during early 2005. Overview Hosts Scott Cam and Cherie Hausler were joined by experts, which included unrelated Simone Maher and Jackie Adams-Maher for pets, Myles Baldwin for gardening, Dr John Tickell for health, Maggie Beer for food and Tara Dennis for home makeovers. After 17 years on Australian television Don Burke's ''Burke's Backyard'' was cancelled at the end of 2004 and left the all important Friday evening 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. time slot, which led into Nine's '' Friday Night Football'', open. After much hype and anticipation ''Our Place'' hit the screens on 8 April 2005 (delayed by two weeks due to the broadcast of the Pope John Paul II's funeral). Scott Cam
Scott Cam (born 24 November 1962) is an Australian television presenter, a recipient of the Gold Logie appearing on several lifestyle programmes on the Nine Network. He is best known as the host of the hit reality TV renovation show '' The Block''. Career Cam first appeared on Nine's popular lifestyle show ''Backyard Blitz'' in 2000, alongside Jamie Durie, doing building segments until the show's cancellation in 2006. In between, he appeared on the successful ''Renovation Rescue'' (2004–present) before appearing in his own live lifestyle program '' Our Place''. Pope John Paul II

''Motorway Patrol'' is a New Zealand observational documentary show created by Greenstone Pictures. The show follows the daily lives of police officers patrolling the motorways of New Zealand. The show is also shown on ITV4 and Pick in the United Kingdom. ''Friday Night Football'' is an Australian sports broadcast of National Rugby League games on Friday evenings. In 1982, several early season NSWRL games were played on a Friday night, however regular non-weekend football began as ''Monday Night Football'' in 1985, with Canterbury meeting Manly on 24 June. However moderate attendances and a night game prior to a working day eventually saw the game shifted to Friday from 1988 on. As with Monday Night Football, regular Friday fixtures only commenced in the latter half of the season, due to the midweek competition. By 1990, a Friday night game was usually scheduled in all rounds. Cherie Hausler (born 4 April 1973 in the Barossa Valley, South Australia) is a television presenter, freelance journalist, food stylist and creative director of ''Eat Me'' restaurant in Bangkok. Career Television Cherie's TV career begun when she was chosen as the co-host of ''Pepsi Live'' alongside Dylan Lewis. Opportunities grew after she took on the role as solo host of the live music show while Dylan was in the '' Big Brother'' house, with Cherie being retained as the show's roving reporter. Cherie was then employed by TVSN which allowed her to further practise her skills in a live-to-air situation.
