is a Japanese film director, writer, editor, producer and actor best known for his 2013 movie ''The Great Passage'' for which he won best director at the 2013 Japanese Academy Awards. Personal life Yuya Ishii won best director at the 2010 Blue Ribbon Awards, and the movie also resulted in his marriage in late 2010 to the lead actress Hikari Mitsushima, a former member of the J-pop group member Folder 5 and actress in such films as ''Death Note'' (2006) and ''Love Exposure'' (2008). Mieko Harada
is a Japanese actress from Tokyo. She has played various roles in many motion pictures, television shows and television dramas since her debut in 1974. Career Harada most notably portrayed Lady Kaede in Akira Kurosawa's 1985 film ''Ran'', and further collaborated with him in his 1990 film ''Dreams''. Harada also provided the voice for Kaguya in the 2002 anime film '' InuYasha the Movie: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass''. Harada won the award for best actress at the 21st Hochi Film Award for '' Village of Dreams'' and at the 23rd Hochi Film Award for ''Begging for Love''. (born July 9, 1990) is a Japanese actor, television, and theatre actor best known for his role as Higen, the young nephew of samurai leader Katsumoto, in the 2003 film ''The Last Samurai''. Life and career Born in Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, on July 9, 1990, Ikematsu landed his first film role in the blockbuster hit ''The Last Samurai'' at the age of 13.. Accessed May 29, 2006.
