Otto Frank Graven
Otto Frank Graven (born May 25, 1975), is a professional driver from Kimberley, Northern Cape, South Africa, who has successfully competed in numerous motorsporting codes. He competed locally in the Botts Motorcycle series and later went on to establish himself as one of the countries top Drifters. In 2011, he was awarded a Pro Licence by one of the world's leading drift series in America. He competed in the Formula Drift season and managed to complete five out of the seven events as a rookie driver. Graven plans to aid other local Raceway owners in introducing the American V8 Late Model Series which is popular in the United States and Australia. Currently he competes in Car No.27 at one of Cape Town's dirt oval tracks, and is busy restoring his own dirt oval track back home in Kimberley. Kimberley, Northern Cape
Kimberley is the capital and largest city of the Northern Cape province of South Africa. It is located approximately 110 km east of the confluence of the Vaal and Orange Rivers. The city has considerable historical significance due to its diamond mining past and the siege during the Second Anglo-Boer war. Northern Cape
The Northern Cape is the largest and most sparsely populated province of South Africa. It was created in 1994 when the Cape Province was split up. Its capital is Kimberley. It includes the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park, part of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and an international park shared with Botswana. Formula Drift (also known as Formula D) is a United States-based motorsport drifting series. Formula Drift, Inc. was co-founded by Jim Liaw and Ryan Sage in 2003 as a sister company to Slipstream Global Marketing, the same partnership that introduced D1 Grand Prix to the United States. Ebisu Circuit
is a motorsport race track, racing complex located in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima, Nihonmatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Overview The Ebisu Circuit complex has seven individual tracks and two skid pad type circuits. The circuits are Nishi (West), Kita (North), Higashi (East), Minami (South) as well as Drift Land, the School Course, The Touge (mountain pass) and 'KuruKuru Land' which are the skidpads. The most famous circuit is the Minami or South course which is used for D1 Grand Prix and other Drifting (motorsport), drifting events. Nobushige Kumakubo
is a drifting driver from Japan who competes in the D1 Grand Prix series and racetrack and land owner. Nicknamed ''Kuma'', he is commonly referred to as one of the pioneers of drifting. Born to a wealthy family who owned a large portion of land in the Fukushima countryside, with the easy accessibility of the family plot, Kumakubo was able to use some of it to build and develop the Ebisu Circuit. Kumakubo also used the circuit to host numerous drifting events as well as various motorsport events.
