Otto Falckenberg School Of The Performing Arts
The Otto Falckenberg Schule – Fachakademie für darstellende Kunst der Landeshauptstadt München, or Otto Falckenberg School of the Performing Arts, is a higher education academy in Munich training actors and directors, affiliated to the Munich Kammerspiele, Münchner Kammerspiele. It was founded in 1946 as the Städtische Schauspielschule but renamed to its present name on 1 March 1948, after the director and theatre manager Otto Falckenberg. Its current director is Jochen Noch and assistant director Sigrid Herzog. Munich Kammerspiele
The Munich Kammerspiele (German: Münchner Kammerspiele) is a state-funded German-language theater company based at the ''Schauspielhaus'' on Maximilianstrasse in the Bavarian capital. The company currently has three venues: the main stage of the theatre with two small stages, the workroom on Hildegardstrasse, and the Therese-Giehse-Halle in the rehearsal building on Falckenbergstrasse. History The company was founded in 1906 in Schwabing as the private troupe of Erich Ziegel. Monika Baumgartner
Monika Baumgartner (born 19 July 1951) is a German television actress and theatre director. In her roles, she usually plays typical characters from Bavaria. Biography Born in Munich, Bavaria, Baumgartner studied at Otto-Falckenberg-Schule, a theatre academy in Munich, after which she took theatre roles in Mannheim and Hamburg and minor roles in TV shows. Her breakthrough came in 1981 when she starred in ', a TV film, where she played the main role by the same name. She is also remembered for playing several roles in ''Derrick''. Jens Harzer
Jens Harzer (born 14 March 1972) is a German stage, film, and television actor. He began his career at the Munich Kammerspiele, and has been a member of the Thalia Theater (Hamburg), Thalia Theatre in Hamburg since 2009. He has appeared at the Salzburg Festival regularly since 2000. Harzer received prizes for roles on stage, in film and on television. He has been the bearer of the Iffland-Ring since March 2019. Gerald Alexander Held (born 19 October 1958) is a German actor. He is internationally best known for his historical depictions, as Walther Hewel in the 2004 film ''Der Untergang'', Robert Mohr in the 2005 film ''Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage'' and as state prosecutor Siegfried Buback in the 2008 film ''Der Baader Meinhof Komplex''. Pola Kinski (born Pola Nakszynski; 23 March 1952) is a German actress. She is the firstborn daughter of the German actor Klaus Kinski. Early life Under the name Pola Nakszynski, Pola Kinski was born in Berlin as the only daughter of German actor Klaus Kinski and his first wife, the singer Gislinde Kühlbeck. After her father changed his surname to Kinski, it was changed for his children as well. Her parents divorced in 1955 when she was three years old. Waldemar Kobus (born 1966) is a German actor. Biography Kobus was born in Szczytno, Poland and, as an ethnic German, moved to Germany in 1970. From 1988 until 1991 he attended the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule school of performing arts in Munich, Germany. Afterwards he performed in several theatre plays in Frankfurt, Bochum, Stuttgart, Zürich, Vienna and Cologne. Jeff Wilbusch (born Iftach Wilbuschewitz, 14 November 1987) is an Israeli-German actor. Early life and education Wilbusch was born on 14 November 1987 in Haifa, Israel. He grew up in the Hasidic Jewish Satmar community of Mea Shearim, Jerusalem. Yiddish is his native language, and he is the eldest of 14 siblings.
