is a List of towns in Japan, town in Oshima Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. As of September 2016, the town's population was estimated as 17,299, with a population density, density of 18 persons per km2. The total area is 955.98 km2. The is a railway line connecting the cities of Hakodate and Asahikawa via Sapporo in Hokkaido, Japan. It is one of the trunk lines operated by the Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido).
