Oto-Awori
Oto-Awori previously known as just "OTO" is a suburban community and a local government development council area located along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway in Ojo local government area of Lagos State. Oto Awori is founded by Ayato which is the predecessor for Today's Esau Oladega AINA (Kuyamiku) of the Oloja Ruling House of Oto Awori. Ayato the founder of Oto Awori from Ile-Ife, Oto Awori has been administered from Badagry since 1909 having apparently been placed for a few years in the Lagos District by the definition of boundaries thereof 1985. Ojo, Nigeria
Ojo is a Local Government Areas of Nigeria, Local Government Area and town in Lagos State, Nigeria. Lagos State University is located there. Ojo is located on the eastern section of the Trans–West African Coastal Highway, about 37 km west of Lagos. It is part of the Lagos Metropolitan Area. Ojo is a primarily residential township although it contains some major markets including Alaba International Market, Alaba livestock market (Alaba Rago), the old Lagos International Trade Fair complex, and Iyana-Iba market. It also houses the divisional headquarters of 81 division Nigerian Army and Navy Town. South of the town (across Badagry creek), the rest of the local government is sparsely populated and consists of mangrove swamps and sandy beaches. Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education offers the award of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) and undergraduate first degree courses in Education, having affiliated to Ekiti State University. History The college, which was formerly called Lagos State College of Education, was established in 1958 as a Grade III teacher training college, matriculating about ninety students in its first year. Badagry Division is an administrative division of Lagos State in Nigeria. The ancient town of Badagry, also known as Badagri, is located in Nigeria and was one of the five divisions established by the Lagos State in 1968. It has a troubled past and an important present. Nigeria is a federation of 36 states and 1 federal capital territory. Each of the 36 states is a semi-autonomous political unit that shares powers with the federal government as enumerated under the Constitution of Nigeria, Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. History Of Lagos
Lagos is the largest and former capital city of Nigeria and the largest city in Africa in terms of population with about 15.3 million people living in it. It is also the 4th largest economy in Africa. Location Lagos is in Lagos State in South-Western Nigeria. It is bounded on the west by the Republic of Benin, to the north and east by Ogun State with the Atlantic Ocean providing a coastline on the south. Lagos is made up of a collection of islands surrounded by creeks that fringe the mouth of the Lagos lagoon on the southwest. It is separated from the Atlantic Ocean by a stretch of loosely connected barrier islands and sand spits.
