Otis Hudson
Otis Hudson (born July 19, 1986) is a former American football guard. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 5th round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Eastern Illinois. Early years Otis was born and raised in the city of Chicago. He used sports as a way to stay out of trouble. He liked playing basketball, football, and baseball. When Hudson was in middle school, he became part of AAU basketball, which was coached by Douglas Keys. He started playing football in 8th grade and realized he had great athletic ability in football. He played on both the varsity offensive line and defensive line, when he was a freshman at John Marshall High School. He also played on the varsity basketball team as the center. When he was a sophomore in high school, he told his parents he wanted to move to the suburbs, because he knew he would have a better opportunity of playing NCAA football. Guard (American Football)
In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center and the tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through. Tanner Hawkinson
Tanner Hawkinson (born May 14, 1990) is a former American football offensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL). Hawkinson played in college at the University of Kansas. He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Early years Hawkinson was an all-state defensive lineman and tight end at McPherson High School in McPherson, Kansas, graduating in 2008. College career He was recruited to KU to play tight end, but moved to defense, and eventually ended up on the offensive line.
