Othmar Commenda
Othmar Commenda (born 29 May 1954) is a retired General of the Austrian Armed Forces and former Chief of its General Staff. Career After his basic military service in 1975, he graduated at the Theresian Military Academy. He was from 1979 Platoon leader and then as company commander at Panzerbataillon 14 in Wels in service. Later Commenda graduated at the National Defense Academy in Vienna a general staff training, which he completed in 1988 with honors. from 1988 to 1991, Commenda was the chief instructor of tactics at the National Defense Academy. From 1993 to 1995 he was chief of staff and deputy brigade commander of the 3rd Panzer-Grenadier-Brigade in Mautern. As of 2001, Commenda was head of the staff department in the Cabinet of Defense, and since 2003 has been in charge of the Cabinet of the Federal Minister of Defense. Company Commander
A company commander is the commanding officer of a company, a military unit which typically consists of 100 to 250 soldiers, often organized into three or four smaller units called platoons. The exact organization of a company varies by country, service, and unit type. Aviation companies can have as few as 40 personnel, while some specialized companies such as maintenance or training units are considerably larger and may number as many as 500 personnel. In some forces, the second-in-command of a company is called the executive officer (XO). Historically, companies were often formed and financed by individual owners rather than by the state. Founded in 1751, the academy is located in the castle of Wiener Neustadt in Lower Austria. Hans Peter Doskozil
Hans Peter Doskozil (born 21 June 1970) is an Austrian politician, member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria. He has previously served in cabinet and is currently the governor (''Landeshauptmann'') of Burgenland since 28 February 2019. In the 2020 Burgenland election, he led his party to win a majority of the seats in Burgenland's parliament.
