Otago Rebels
The Otago Rebels was a New Zealand netball team which represented Otago in the National Bank Cup. Otago Rebels were the first team to win the inaugural (what was then known as) Coca-Cola Cup. In 2008, the Rebels were merged with Southern Sting to compete as the Southern Steel in the trans-tasman ANZ Championship. Dunedin
Dunedin ( ; mi, Ōtepoti) is the second-largest city in the South Island of New Zealand (after Christchurch), and the principal city of the Otago region. Stephanie Bond
Stephanie Bond (born 16 May 1981 in Dargaville, New Zealand) is a New Zealand netball player. She played two years in the ANZ Championship for the Northern Mystics from 2008–09, but was not signed for the 2010 season, due to time restraints with her law career. Prior to the ANZ Championship, Bond spent time with both the Auckland Diamonds (2006-2007) and Otago Rebels (2001-2005) in the National Bank Cup. Northern Mystics are a New Zealand netball team based in Auckland. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship. Since 2017 they have represented Netball Northern in the ANZ Premiership. Netball Northern is the governing body that represents the Auckland and Northland Regions. Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic are a New Zealand netball team based in Hamilton. Between 1999 and 2007, they played in the Coca-Cola Cup/National Bank Cup league. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship. Since 2017, Magic have represented Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty in the ANZ Premiership. Mainland Tactix are a New Zealand netball team based in Christchurch, Canterbury. Between 1998 and 2007, as Canterbury Flames, they played in the Coca-Cola Cup/National Bank Cup league. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship. Between 2008 and 2012 they were known as Canterbury Tactix. However, after Netball Mainland was established in October 2012, the team subsequently adopted their current name. Netball Mainland is the governing body that represents the South Island regions of Canterbury, West Coast, Nelson and Marlborough. Since 2017, Tactix have represented Netball Mainland in the ANZ Premiership. During the ANZ Championship era, Tactix won just 20 of their 114 games and never featured in a finals series. Central Pulse are a New Zealand netball team based in Wellington. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship. Since 2017 they have represented Netball Central in the ANZ Premiership. Anna Harrison (netball Player)
Anna Maree Harrison (née Scarlett; born 15 April 1983 in Westport, New Zealand) is a New Zealand netball and beach volleyball player. She stands at 1.87 m (6 ft 2 in). In netball Harrison plays as goal-keep, goal-defence and/or wing-defence. Anna Maree used to play netball and basketball in winter and played beach and indoor volleyball during summer when she was in a boarding high school. She was raised in Karamea on the South Island's west coast and in 2002 joined the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns, travelling to the Commonwealth Games with the team as a training player. She went on to earn 39 caps in the Silver Ferns by the end of 2006. but was not selected for the 2007 World Netball Championships squad, subsequently retiring from netball to focus on beach volleyball, partnering with Susan Blundell.
