Osvaldo Alonso Moreno (born November 11, 1985) is a Cuban professional footballer who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Atlanta United FC in Major League Soccer (MLS). He defected from Cuba in 2007 and became a U.S. citizen in 2012. During his decade-long career with Seattle Sounders FC, Alonso played as a defensive midfielder who was known for his style of harassing, tackling and covering the field, while getting forward to supply enough offense to be considered a threat. Pablo Daniel "Dani" Osvaldo (; born 12 January 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. Born and raised in Argentina, Osvaldo represented the Italy national team internationally. Osvaldo began his career at Huracán in 2005 and the following year moved to Italy in a co-ownership deal between Serie B clubs Atalanta and Lecce, later playing in the top flight for Fiorentina and Bologna. After a loan to RCD Espanyol, he joined the Spanish club on a permanent basis before earning a return to Italy to Roma for an initial fee of €15 million in 2011. Osvaldo Sosa (26 January 1945 – 6 July 2020) was an Argentine football manager and player who worked as the manager of Atlético Tucumán in the Primera División Argentina. Playing career Sosa began his playing career in 1964 with Almagro. In 1966 he joined Primera División side Argentinos Juniors where he played over 100 games over his two stints with the club. He also played for Independiente and Ferro Carril Oeste. Managerial career Sosa had his first attempt at management as the player-coach of Argentinos Juniors between 1970 and 1971.
