Osvaldas Matulionis
Osvaldas Matulionis (born August 19, 1991) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Fundación Lucentum Baloncesto of the LEB Oro. He plays in the small forward position. He played for the Lietuvos rytas Vilnius youth system between 2007 and 2009. Professional career In 2013, Matulionis arrived in Spain to play at Força Lleida of the Spanish second division. Two years later, he agreed to terms with Cafés Candelas Breogán for one season. On September 20, 2016, Matulionis signed a one-month contract with Río Natura Monbús Obradoiro for making his debut at Liga ACB. On November 13, 2017, Matulionis was introduced at the Brazilian's champion Bauru Basket from NBB. On July 19, 2018, Matulionis signed with RETAbet Bilbao Basket of the LEB Oro. Club Baloncesto Breogán, S.A.D., also known as Río Breogán for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball club based in Lugo, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB. The club was founded in 1966 by the Varela-Portas brothers. The team played for the first time in the Spanish top league in 1970. The name of the club is a reference to legendary Galician King Breogán. The Breogán jerseys have always been sky blue with details in details in white or dark blue. FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship
The FIBA U16 European Championship, previously known as the FIBA Europe Championship for Cadets, is a youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1971 edition. Through the 2003 edition, it was held every second year, but since the 2004 edition onward, it is held every year. Baltic Basketball League (BBL) was the Baltic states basketball league founded in 2004. The league mainly focused on teams from the Baltic states, but teams from Sweden, Russia, Kazakhstan, Finland, and Belarus have participated in the Baltic League. After the 2017–18 season, the league announced that it was suspending its operations. History For the 2015–16 season, the format of the BBL included a regular season composed by two groups of seven teams that competed in a round-robin competition system, with each team facing their opponent twice. Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) (English: New Basketball Brazil) is the Brazilian premier professional men's basketball league. It is organized by the Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB) (National Basketball League), in a new format of Brazil's previous top-tier level basketball competition, the Campeonato Brasileiro de Basquete (Brazilian Basketball Championship). The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs.
