Ostgut Ton (also known as Ostgut Tonträger) was a German record label owned by the club Berghain in Berlin. Marcel Dettmann
Marcel Dettmann (born 26 October 1977) is a German DJ, producer, and record label owner whom commentators have called "one of the most influential proponents of contemporary techno." Dettmann is a resident at the well-known Berlin nightclub Berghain. He used to work at Berlin's legendary record store Hard Wax (between 2002 and 2012). In addition to being a highly prolific producer Dettmann also tours extensively DJing at clubs and electronic music festivals throughout Europe. He owns the label MDR (Marcel Dettmann Records). Vatican Shadow
Ian Dominick Fernow is an American experimental musician, poet and multimedia artist. He is best known for extreme music released under the stage name Prurient, as well as numerous other aliases including Vatican Shadow and Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement. His first releases date back to 1998, the same year in which he founded the record label Hospital Productions. Life Fernow was born into a Roman Catholic household, and was raised in Madison, Wisconsin. He recounts his entrance into public school and his exposure to death metal and tape trading as early sources of musical interest. Tama Sumo
Tama Sumo (real name Kerstin Egert) is a German DJ and producer who has been called "one of the world's finest house and techno DJs whose success and acclaim stem only from her skills as a selector". She is signed to the Ostgut Ton label and is a resident DJ at Berghain. She tours extensively, DJing at clubs and music festivals throughout the world. René Pawlowitz (born 1975 in Frankfurt/Oder) is a Berlin-based techno DJ and producer, better known under his moniker Shed. Life René Pawlowitz was born in 1975 in the East German town of Frankfurt/Oder and grew up in Schwedt/Oder. He started producing music in the 1990s. In 2002 he moved to Berlin and founded his own label Soloaction Records, where he released his first EP ''Red Planet Express'' as ''Shed'' in 2004. Luke Slater (born 12 June 1968, Reading, Berkshire, England) is an English electronic musician, DJ and record producer, who has concentrated on techno since the beginning of the 1990s. He achieved break through commercial success with his tracks "Love" (1997) and "All Exhale" (1999). Techno
Techno is a genre of electronic dance music (EDM) which is generally produced for use in a continuous DJ set, with tempo often varying between 120 and 150 beats per minute (bpm). The central rhythm is typically in common time (4/4) and often characterized by a repetitive four on the floor beat. Artists may use electronic instruments such as drum machines, sequencers, and synthesizers, as well as digital audio workstations. Drum machines from the 1980s such as Roland's TR-808 and TR-909 are highly prized, and software emulations of such retro instruments are popular. Len Faki
Glen Faki, also known by his stage name Len Faki, is a Turkish-German DJ and producer based in Berlin. Faki is of Turkish descent and is also known under the pseudonym Lamonde. He has appeared as a DJ in clubs such as Ostgut in Berlin, Tresor in Berlin and U60311 in Frankfurt as well as at festivals such as Nature One, SonneMondSterne, Woohah and Alive in Belgium. He made a breakthrough in 2007, when he released the successful tracks "Ik kan niet met deze", "Mekong Delta" and "My Black Sheep".
