Koondrook ( ) is a town situated on the Murray River, Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia. Brunswick Football Club was an Australian rules football club which played in the Victorian Football League, Victorian Football Association (VFA) from 1897 until 1991. Based in Brunswick, Victoria, for most of their time in the Association they were known as the Magpies, and wore black and white guernseys. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football.
