Osos De Manatí
The Osos de Manatí are a professional basketball team based in Manatí, Puerto Rico. They play in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN), the top division basketball league in Puerto Rico. Prior to 2017, the team was named Atenienses de Manatí. In October 2022 they returned from a hiatus, when Puerto Rican singer Ozuna Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado (; born March 13, 1992), known simply by his surname Ozuna, is a Puerto Rican singer, born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. Baloncesto Superior Nacional
The Baloncesto Superior Nacional, abbreviated as BSN, is the first-tier-level professional men's basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1929 and is organized by the Puerto Rican Basketball Federation. The Baloncesto Superior Nacional, which is played under FIBA rules of basketball, rules, currently consists of 12 teams, of which the most successful has been the Vaqueros de Bayamón with 16 titles as of 2022. The league has produced players that have distinguished themselves in the National Basketball Association, NBA, EuroLeague, Spain's Liga ACB, ACB, and other tournaments throughout the world. Isaac Sosa
Isaac Sosa Carrion (born February 16, 1990) is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player for Osos de Manatí of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He played collegiate basketball at UCF and Canisius University, and his professional career includes stops in Greece, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Poland, and Puerto Rico. He represents Puerto Rico internationally. Early life Sosa played high school basketball at Grandview Prep (FL) where he averaged 19.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg, and 6.0 apg. He earned the Florida Class 1A All-State First Team honors as a senior while leading Grandview Prep to the state final and a 28-2 record. Brandon Bowman
Brandon Kyle Bowman (born October 15, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli Liga Artzit. He played college basketball at Georgetown University where he played primarily at the small forward position under coach John Thompson III. Bowman was a preseason candidate for the 2006 John R. Wooden Award for the best collegiate men's basketball player. Jordan Isaiah Howard (born January 6, 1996) is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player for the Ningbo Rockets of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for Central Arkansas. He represents Puerto Rico on the men's national basketball team. Kleon Penn
Kleon Penn (born 1 September 1986) is a British Virgin Islander-Puerto Rican professional basketball player for the Osos de Manatí of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He is currently the league’s all-time leader in blocks. He played college basketball for H. Lavity Stoutt Community College and McNeese State. College career Penn began his career with Tortola's H. Lavity Stoutt Community College where he averaged a double-double and eight blocked shots during the eight-game season while recording a triple-double in one game. The next season, he transferred to McNeese State where on his second year, he led the conference, ranked fourth in the nation and set a single season school record for blocked shots after ending with 117 for an average of 4.0 per game. Jhivvan Jameel Jackson Meléndez (born August 27, 1998) is a Puerto Rican-Panamanian professional basketball player for Würzburg Baskets of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). He played college basketball for the UTSA Roadrunners. Early life and high school Jackson began playing basketball at the age of five.
