Osmanabad Airport
Osmanabad Airport is a public airport located off NH 211, 10 km north of the town of Osmanabad, in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India. The airfield was built in 1984 and managed by the Public Works Department of the State Government. In 2009, Reliance Airport Developers won a bid to run the airport on a 95-year lease along with four other airports— Nanded, Baramati, Yavatmal and Latur. The airport does not see any air traffic apart from visits from the odd state government aircraft and operations of the flying school based here. Structure Osmanabad airport has one runway oriented 04/22, 1,200 metres in length with a 10 metre wide parallel taxiway running along its entire length on the north side. It has an apron measuring 60 metres by 80 metres connected to the southwest end of the runway by means of a taxi-way. Baramati Airport
Baramati Airport is located in Baramati, Pune district of Maharashtra state in India. This airstrip was constructed by MIDC in 1996, at a distance of 12 km from Baramati city/ Baramati railway station. It is currently being used for general aviation and pilot training. Description Elevation of the airfield is 604 metres MSL and is spread over an area of 182.5 hectares (451.11 Acres). Runway 11/29 is 1770 metres long and 30 metres wide with turning pads at both ends. The Runway Strength is 16 LCN. Three taxiways connect the airstrip to two adjacent aprons measuring 180 by 100 metres and 100 by 75 metres. The airport has a 112 square metre terminal building and approach road. Nanded is a city in Maharashtra state, India. It is the tenth largest city in the state and the seventy-ninth most populous city in India. It is the second largest city in Marathwada region. Latur Airport is a public airport located near Chincholiraowadi, west of the city of Latur, in the Marathwada region of the Maharashtra state in India. Jawaharlal Darda Airport is a public airport located 9 kilometres east of the city of Yavatmal, in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, India. History Yavatmal Airport was constructed in 1998 by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation. The airport was largely underused, being used only for government-operated aircraft.
