Osirus Mitchell
Osirus Mitchell (born September 15, 1998) is an American football wide receiver. He played college football at Mississippi State. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent following the 2021 NFL Draft. He had stints with the Green Bay Packers, Birmingham Stallions and Memphis Showboats of the United States Football League (USFL), and the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL. While with the Stallions he was a USFL champion. Early life and high school Mitchell grew up Sarasota, Florida, and attended Booker High School. As a senior, he averaged 21.7 yards per catch and had 25 touchdown receptions. Mitchell was rated a three-star recruit but was not recruited heavily initially, as he was not expected to qualify academically to play college football. The 2021 NFL Draft was the 86th National Football League Draft, the annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2021 NFL season. The draft was held in Cleveland from April 29 to May 1, 2021. Five quarterbacks were selected in the first round — Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, and Mac Jones — the second highest number of first-round quarterback selections (along with the 1999 and 2018 drafts) after the six selected in 1983. 2022 USFL Draft
The 2022 USFL Draft, also known as the 2022 USFL Player Selection Meeting, was the player selection process to fill the rosters of the eight teams for the 2022 USFL season. The draft was held on February 22–23, 2022, with results released through the USFL's social media channels. Structure The USFL player allocation process will be held in multiple phases, separated by position groups. The league will use a "snake" format in each phase, in which the draft order reversed with each round. The draft order will be shuffled for each phase as predetermined through lotteries. 2020 LSU Tigers Football Team
The 2020 LSU Tigers football team represented Louisiana State University in the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Tigers played their home games at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and competed in the West Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by fourth year head coach Ed Orgeron. The season was not an easy one for LSU, who were the defending national champions.
