Oscar Thomas (born 1994) is a Scotland national rugby league team, Scotland international rugby league footballer who plays as a or for Newcastle Thunder in the Betfred Championship. Thomas previously played for the London Broncos, London Skolars, Bradford Bulls and the Sheffield Eagles. Playing career London Broncos Thomas made his Super League début for the London Broncos in 2014, against St Helens R.F.C., St. Helens. The game was lost by the Broncos, 16-58. He was named in the starting line-up and played as fullback. He made six appearances during the Broncos' unsuccessful spell in Super League. 2017 RFL Championship
The 2017 Rugby Football League Championship, known as Kingstone Press Championship due to sponsorship by Kingstone Press Cider, is a rugby league football competition predominantly played in the UK, one tier below the first tier Super League. The 2017 season was the third to consist of a new structure combining the championship and super league divisions three quarters of the way through the season. The 2017 Championship featured 12 teams, which all played one another twice in the regular season, once at home, and once away, totalling 22 games. Hull Kingston Rovers are a professional rugby league club based in Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England, that competes in the Super League, the top tier of British rugby league. Keighley's home ground, Cougar Park has a capacity of 7,800. History Early years The club was formed at a meeting held on 17 October 1876 under the presidency of the Reverend Marriner. A committee was elected and the club was allowed the use of Holmes' field in Lawkholme Lane. The Dewsbury Rams are a professional English rugby league club based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire that compete in the Championship. They play their home games at the Tetley's Stadium, on Owl Lane.
