Osami Nabe
Osami Nabe (real name ''Shuzo Watanabe'', May 2, 1939 -) is a Japanese comedian and actor. Early life and education Nabe was born in Omori, Tokyo. He graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Omori High School and attended Meiji University beginning in 1958, where he studied drama. While he was still in school, he wrote a radio script as a disciple of Toriro Miki. However, aspiring to be a comedian, he became an attendant to Shintaro Katsu and Hiroshi Mizuhara, and he and Mizuhara entered Watanabe Productions at the same time. Mizuhara would leave Watanabe Productions, but Nabe remained and became Hajime Hana's attendant. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai. The manga was one of the first to be serialized in Shueisha's ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'', where it ran from 1968 to 1972, with its chapters collected in thirteen ''tankōbon'' volumes. Kikkawa Hiroie
(December 7, 1561 – October 22, 1626) was a Japanese ''daimyō'' of the Azuchi–Momoyama period through early Edo period. Hiroie's father was Kikkawa Motoharu and his mother was a daughter of Kumagai Nobunao. Biography He initially was named ''Tsunenobu'' (経信) and made his debut on the battlefield on 1578 against Amago Katsuhisa with his father. On 1583, he was sent to then the ''de facto'' ruler Hashiba Hideyoshi as a hostage. is a satirical novel written in 1905–1906 by Natsume Sōseki about Japanese society during the Meiji period (1868–1912), particularly the uneasy mix of Western culture and Japanese traditions. Sōseki's title, ''Wagahai wa Neko de Aru'', uses a very high-register phrasing more appropriate to a nobleman, conveying grandiloquence and self-importance. This is somewhat ironic, since the speaker, an anthropomorphized domestic cat, is a regular house cat of a teacher, and not of a high-ranking noble as the manner of speech suggests, an example of Sōseki's love for droll writing. was a long-running prime-time popular television detective series in Japan. It aired on Saturday nights in the 9:00–9:54 p.m. time slot on the Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) network from May 24, 1975 to April 3, 1982. A sequel, ''G-Men '82'', followed, as did the specials. It had also been broadcast in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Since Hong Kong was one of the filming locations, it was very popular there. With several updates and cast changes, it ran for 7 years.
