Osama Khalaila ( ar, أسامة خلايلة, he, אוסאמה ח'לאילה; born 6 April 1998) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as a striker, most recently for LNZ Cherkasy in the Ukrainian Premier League, and the Israel national team. Club career Bnei Sakhnin F.C Khalaila made his debut in the Israeli Premier League on 6 May 2017, coming on as a 66th-minute substitute against Beitar Jerusalem. Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C On 22 July 2021, Khalaila signed a three-year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv for a fee of €515,000. He made his debut for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the UEFA Europa Conference League on 22 July, coming on as a 72nd-minute substitute against FK Sutjeska Nikšić. Sakhnin ( ar, سخنين; he, סַחְ'נִין or ''Sikhnin'') is an Arab city in Israel's Northern District. It is located in the Lower Galilee, about east of Acre. Sakhnin was declared a city in 1995. Liga Leumit ( he, ליגה לאומית, lit. ''National League'') is the second division of the Israeli Football League, and below its Premier League. Structure There are 16 clubs in the league. At the end of each season, the two lowest-placed teams are relegated to Liga Alef while the two highest-placed teams from Liga Alef are promoted in their place.
