Osaka Blazers Sakai is a men's professional volleyball team based in Sakai city, Osaka, Japan. It plays in the V.Premier League. The club was founded in 1939 as part of the Kitakyushu, Fukuoka-based Yawata Steel athletic club which also included football club Yawata Steel F.C. In 1969 the volleyball section split and moved to Sakai. Rintaro Umemoto
is the pseudonym of , a well-known director of anime. He works frequently with the animation studio Madhouse (which he co-founded), though he is a freelance director not employed directly by any one studio. He began working in the animation industry—at age 17—as an in-between animator on the 1958 film ''Hakujaden''. Sharone Vernon-Evans (born 28 August 1998) is a Canadian volleyball player. He is a member of the Canada men's national volleyball team and Japanese club Osaka Blazers Sakai.
