Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. Shankar–Ganesh is an Indian music director duo who has worked on Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada movies for around 50 years. Career They started as assistants to Tamil music composers M. S. Viswanathan and T. K. Ramamoorthy in 1964 and later the duo assisted M.S.Viswanathan alone from 1965 till 1967. Plot Shankar (Manoj Kumar) loses his wife (Nanda) in an accident. She dies while saving her son (Deepak). Due to the accident, Deepak loses his voice. Shankar is keen to hear his son's voice again; however, doctors suggest that Deepak has to undergo a surgery to get his voice back. Shankar tries hard to collect money for the surgery and finally is able to collect enough money for the surgery after a few hardships. Deepak undergoes the surgery successfully.
