''Os Maiores Sucessos de João Penca e Seus Miquinhos Amestrados'' (Portuguese for "''The Greatest Hits of João Penca anana-Bunch Joeand His Tamed Apes''") is the debut studio album by the eponymous Brazilian new wave band, despite being billed on its cover and title as a greatest hits album. It was released in 1983 by Barclay Records. It was the band's only release to feature keyboard player Cláudio Killer, who died on December 1, 1983 due to an accidental poisonous gas leakage in his apartment while he was taking a shower, and guitarist Léo Jaime, who parted ways with João Penca in 1984 to follow a solo career. The album counts with guest appearances by Ney Matogrosso, Lulu Santos and Chacrinha. João Penca e Seus Miquinhos Amestrados (Portuguese for "João Penca anana-Bunch Joeand His Tamed Apes"), commonly referred to as simply João Penca or J.P.M.A., were a Brazilian new wave band from Rio de Janeiro. Founded under the name Zoo, they were famous for their humorous, tongue-in-cheek lyrics filled with double entendres and innuendos which frequently parodied the tropes of 1950s rockabilly and 1960s surf music culture, and for their clothing heavily inspired by singers such as Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry. Alongside the more famous Ultraje a Rigor and Mamonas Assassinas, they are considered to be pioneers of the comedy rock genre in Brazil. Light Reflections was a Brazilian band that performed in the 1970s. Biography The band appeared in 1972 in São Paulo under the name Tobruk, and was formed by André Barbosa Filho (vocals and guitar, used the pseudonym Brian Anderson), Marc Mane (organ and guitar), Ricky Taylor (bass, piano and moog) and Billy Rogers (drums). By contractual requirement, the group sang in English. His greatest success was Tell Me Once Again, and it sold one million copies of the LP One Way, released in 1973, in addition to several shows in Latin America.
