Oruvar Vaazhum Aalayam
''Oruvar Vaazhum Aalayam'' is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by Shanmugapriyan and produced by M. M. Thaha. The film stars Sivakumar, Prabhu, Rahman, Raadhu, and Ambika. The film had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja. It was released on 23 March 1988. Plot Jeeva (Rahman) and Swaminathan (Prabhu) are friends who meet up by fate. Swaminathan hates women and does not respect them, but Jeeva respects women. The story then goes back to a village where Jeeva comes to learn carnatic music from Sivagurunathan (Sivakumar). Sivagurunathan does not accept to teach him music. Meanwhile, Jeeva loves Sarada ( Raadhu), the daughter of Sivagurunathan. She is also pecked by the village headman. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. Amr̥tavarṣiṇi is a rāgam in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music), created in the early nineteenth century by Muthuswami Dikshitar. It is an ''audava'' rāgam (meaning pentatonic scale) in which only five of the seven ''swaras'' (musical notes) are used. It is a ''janya'' rāgam (derived scale), fairly popular in Carnatic music. Prabhu Ganesan (born 25 December 1956), known professionally as Prabhu, is an Indian actor, businessman and film producer who predominantly works in Tamil cinema.
