Orson K. Miller Jr.
Orson Knapp Miller Jr. (December 19, 1930 – June 9, 2006) was an American mycologist. He published numerous papers in mycology and was responsible for the naming of many taxa, as well as being one of the authors erecting the genus Genus ( plural genera ) is a taxonomic rank used in the biological classification of extant taxon, living and fossil organisms as well as Virus classification#ICTV classification, viruses. In the hierarchy of biological classification, genus com ... '' Chroogomphus''. He described ''Omphalotus olivascens'', several species of ''Amanita'', and the ghoul fungus ''Hebeloma aminophilum''.
